Stay in Ambadi Villas for me in word was ‘ magnificent’. The owner Mr and Mrs Ambadi are down to earth people takes care of their guest as if they are family member. The place is rustic situated on the banks of back waters with calming view . Breakfast and Dinner are varieties of Kerala cuisine palatable to the tastebuds. If you are looking for a place away from city life and with good amenities and food then do check out Ambadi Villas .

This home stay is simply elegant with neat rooms facing tranquil backwaters. Waking up into sunrise every morning was truly magical. This entire place has a calming energy that effortlessly puts your mind into zen mode that makes perfect for yoga & self reflections. Idyllic location overlooking the backwaters with lush gardens and a pool with a view, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The beach is a short stroll away. Shaiby and Ambadi are charming hosts and made us feel like family, making sure we had everything we needed. Home cooked meals were consistently delicious, and they have a lovely team of people assisting them.

We had such a lovely stay at Ambadi Cheri! We spent a week here and honestly, it felt less like a homestay and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.
Shaiby and Ambadi are wonderful hosts — incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely caring. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family. Their hospitality is effortless and heartfelt, which made our stay truly special.

One of the absolute highlights? The adorable rabbits! Such a charming and unexpected touch that added so much character and joy.
The swimming pool is cozy and inviting — great for unwinding after a day out. And a special mention for the beautiful sashay they arranged for us in the evening — such a sweet and memorable gesture.

As you walk into Ambadi’s Villa you will experience a certain peace. There’s a spot facing the backwater that has a windchime…a deliciously meditative experience. Ambadi and Shaiby are wonderful hosts. They are gentle and kind and take care to accommodate requests where possible. Perhaps the most beautiful thing is the simple, tasty and absolutely flavourful food that was served. I stayed there for 8 peaceful days and highly recommend Ambadi’s Villa if you’re looking for a great homestay experience just pick this one. You’ll love it!

The view from the room’s balcony is simply breathtaking—wide expanses of calm water, bordered by lush greenery and cheena vala( Chinese fishing net). The ever-changing reflections of the sky on the water make for an incredibly peaceful experience, especially at sunrise

We have stayed in Ambadi villas multiple times and we just loved it. One of the best resort I have visited till now. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. Caretaker mahesh was very helpful and took care of everything. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze.
The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the beach. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Would recommend for sure🙌

I recently stayed at Ambadis and had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the stunning lake view from our room – waking up to the calm, sparkling water every morning was a dream…We also enjoyed the dinner which had a great selection and was served in a lovely area overlooking the lake…..

Ambadi villa in Cherai beach is lovely small place with super views of the back water. The rooms are basic but well maintained I feel. We had opted for non AC room and it was good enough.
They were not preparing any food as such instead ordering it from nearby restaurants. The best part about the villa is the view, one can relax and soak up the views. Also there is lot of greenery inside which just makes it beautiful and it’s just a few minutes walk to the beach. All in all a good place to stay and enjoy Cherai beach.

I visited Cherai Beach Kochi for the 1st time this year and spent 7 wonderful days at Ambadis Villa Cherai Beach which became home during my stay.
Located at the edge of the backwaters and a few feet away from the ocean, I had the luxury of watching a blood orange sun rise from my balcony every day! The peace and tranquility was sublime!
But the best part was the unconditional care and service of Mahesh and Shaiby the proprietress who ensures her guests are looked after in the best possible way. Whether it was the cleanliness of the place, warm food or a trishaw or cab to take us around.
Delighted with the experience & certain I will be back!

Property was exceptionally clean and stylish, with a spacious layout that created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, always attentive and courteous. Every detail, from the décor to the cleanliness, reflected a high standard of quality and care.

Ambadi’s home stay is a real sanctuary where to find peace. It is beautiful and the owners and staff are simply angels. The garden is charming with a view on the backwaters and all its wildlife.|Thank you with all my heart.
